# Inbox and email

A thread and a record that agree about what happened.

Threads, messages, replies and the activity around a record, in one place.

- Canonical page: https://notchset.dev/kits/inbox
- Live pieces: 7 (2 free, 5 Pro)

## Follow the task

1. Open a thread and read the message.
2. Reply, then check the recipients before sending.
3. See the reply land in the record's activity.

## States

Unread and read, a reply that waits for the server before it says sent, recipients you can check, a quiet thread.

## Application boundary

Messages stay local to the example. Connect delivery, identity and authorization to your own service.
